A vintage German movie poster of ''The Sundowners'', a 1960 Australian-American film directed by Fred Zinnemann and based on the novel of the same name by Jon Cleary. The film is set in the Australian outback during the 1920s and tells the story of a nomadic sheep-herding family as they travel from one location to another in search of work.

The film's main characters are Ida and Paddy Carmody, played by Deborah Kerr and Robert Mitchum, respectively. They are a married couple who, along with their young son Sean (played by Michael Anderson Jr.), lead a semi-nomadic life as they move from one sheep-shearing job to another.
